HORSE SHOW JUMPING

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA

Jumping is an equestrian event that requires the horse and rider to negotiate a series of various obstacles. Judges emphasize the time it takes to jump each obstacle, along with the height and width of each jump. To be successful, horses should willingly jump each obstacle without fear or hesitation. Jumping tests the skills, training, and precision of both the horse and rider, while also requiring a cooperative partnership between the two.

WHERE DID SHOW JUMPING ORIGINATE?

Competitive jumping has been popular worldwide since the British began practicing it in the early 1900s. Now, horses of all breeds and sizes compete in jumping events with various levels of difficulty. At Reveal Equestrian, equestrian in San Juan Capistrano, we offer jumping training to riders of all ages and levels.

We have a varied competition calendar that involves low-level through AAA horse shows. We are fortunate enough to have a series of horse shows at home in San Juan Capistrano so that we can learn to compete and practice new divisions without leaving our wonderful facility, and we are just across town from the Blenheim show property which holds a year-round series of A shows. It’s a prime location for competing. We have a lovely group of horses going to the shows with us & our custom-tailored training program has brought us great results competing with some of the best horses in the country.
