We have never believed that learning to ride on a horse that is dull and unresponsive is an asset – so our horses are typically more sensitive horses that have a temperament, allowing them to let down to teach beginners. Apollo
Apollo is a 15.3 hand grey gelding that also joined our lesson horse team this summer. Thanks to Nicole Inal for letting us enjoy all his experience. He is a “been there, done that” kind of guy with a level head and fantastic jump. He has been challenging those interested in improving their dressage skills as well, and is a pleasure to teach beginners on!
Tres Magic
Next up, our oh-so-important pony, and basically everyone’s favorite! Tres pretty much starts anyone who is small enough to ride him, and goes through short stirrup hunters. He loves teaching the kids and working on his dressage skills. He is safe and fun but makes sure everyone learns to ride!
Hoot
Last but not least, we have Hoot! Also known as Motion Picture, this guy is a great addition to the lesson horse family. He is a big boy with tons of jumping experience that is perfect for advanced beginners right on up to 3’6 jumpers.
