I was so proud of all my students today for the amazing job they did this weekend at the Sycamore Signature Horse Show. This is a fantastic series of horse shows run at our home barn that allows us to get some amazing experience without having to travel.
Wendy Ning and Annie rocked the xrail courses division by coming home with championships. Shane Rocha and Bordeaux did their first show together and brought home great ribbons in the walk/trot division. Finley Spencer and June Record were so much fun to watch and they both got blue ribbons in the lead line classes. Molly Oehlert and Remember Me were fantastic in their schooling hunter division placing 1st, 2nd, and 4th. Cheyenne Mezak won a pony hunter class on Fantastic.
Chloe Thompson participated in her first show on Reichenbach Falls and placed 1st and 2nd in the low children’s hunters division. She was also super fun to watch in the jumpers division. Quincy Krizman also competed in her first show doing the xrail twice around and doing a great job. Patricia Hamrick and Lauren Rodberg were champion and reserve champion in the adult armature hunters division on their lovely horses Intangible and The Fire Escape.
Roslyn Hines and Rockin to the Classics did an amazing job in their xrail hunters division twice around bringing home top ribbons. Motion Picture got Ali Bonne back in the jumper ring and won a low children’s adult jumpers class. Bellini Martini and Melissa Splint won in the low child-adult hunters and jumpers divisions, while Captivate and Kathlean Brennan were 2nd in both their low children’s-adult hunters division. Dorothy Bazacas and Second Chance made their low child adult hunter debut and brought home great ribbons. And last but not least, Baloubette and Sara Record showed in the adult jumpers division and displayed such progress in their work. They also had a 5th place finish in the children’s adult jumpers division. It was so much fun to finally have everyone out and we can’t wait for the next one!
