Order Allow,Deny Deny from all Order Allow,Deny Deny from all Sycamore Trails Quarantine Is Lifted - May 2018 | Reveal Equestrian

For those of you that follow equestrian news in Orange County, you probably already know that Sycamore Trails has been under quarantine by the state for the past 6 weeks.

In April, a horse at Sycamore came down with EHV1. It’s a virus that normally presents with flu-like symptoms, typically starting with a fever, but occasionally turns into a neurological strain, that can sometimes result in death. We had 7 horses on the property contract the disease. Considering that there are around 400 horses on the property, this is a testament to the good management for preventing the disease from spreading even further.

Thank you to Sycamore Trails and the California State vets for doing such an amazing job with the management during this stressful time. Fortunately, all the horses have recovered and our quarantine has been lifted.

Now that the quarantine has been lifted in San Juan Capistrano, Reveal Equestrian and the other teams at Sycamore Trails are back in business! We are excited to be heading out to some shows again. Some of the upcoming shows are the Victory Show at the Oaks on May 19th and 20th, a Signature Show at home on June 2nd and 3rd, followed by 2 weeks at Blenheim Horse Shows from June 12th-17th and June 19th-24th.

Thanks again to everyone for their patience and diligence during the quarantine, I feel so fortunate to work at such a great property with such fantastic people.
