Here in Riding Park San Juan Capistrano, we have a fervent and close-knit riding community. Since there are so many equestrians in San Juan Capistrano, Blenheim Facility Management has developed a gorgeous event center to accommodate athletes in San Juan Capistrano and surrounding cities.
For years, Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park at San Juan Capistrano has served as a premier center for equestrian competitions and shows. The park is approximately 40 acres large and it boasts a gorgeous 500’ by 900’ lawn that is perfectly manicured for events all year long. There are seven additional competition rings for equestrians as well. It’s the perfect space to set up arena equipment, stables, tents, gates, and jump sets for dressage, hunter, showjumping. Horses and their riders can comfortably practice and compete in the spacious area.
Equestrians gather many times a year at the park for events where they can showcase their skills to fellow equine enthusiasts. Most of the time, there are competitions for riders of all ages and skills, from beginner to advanced. The community is always very welcoming to new participants!
Along the edges of the riding park are grandstands and tented seating, so competitors can invite their friends and family to watch their equestrian shows. There are also beautifully landscaped grassy areas for visitors to explore in between events. The Mission Viejo Riding Park at San Juan Capistrano is truly designed to cater to everyone’s needs!
On days that there are no equestrian activities going on, the riding park can also be used for soccer games, events, and activities for the community.
At Reveal Equestrian, we have attended tons of events hosted at this incredible arena and we’ve always had a great experience. For new riders who are nervous about performing in a new location, there is plenty of time to practice with the equipment at the park and get used to the change of scenery. To get to Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park, simply take Ortega Highway toward Historic Town Center Park. It is located off Antonio Parkway across the street from Sendero Gateway Apartment Homes, just inland of San Juan Capistrano.
